Engagement and bridal

The commission process starts with an initial consultation either on the phone or if possible, in person. Here we have the chance to discuss details about the project together such as details about your bride to be, her style, her preferred metal and stones and an idea of your budget and any ideas of design you already have as guidance.

Although the process is roughly the same for each project, it will vary depending on the specific needs.  As a rule of thumb, I will source gemstones within the UK market as this allows for the viewing of the stones and establishes an initial idea and direction. If required, however, I can expand my search abroad using my carefully selected trusted suppliers.  Once the stone is selected, we can start thinking about the being more specific about the design.

I will sketch two or three final ideas of designs for you to sign off on and we will then proceed with the production of your piece.

The ring will be made by hand and set to our high specifications by craftsmen here in London. The aim is to deliver the piece to you in a delay of 6-8 weeks once we have sourced the stone.
